    Default Non Compete

My question involves employment and labor law for the state of: US

If you're employed by an ecommerce company with a non compete, is it valid and reasonable to state you cannot work for a competitor in the entire US? Have there been any court cases involving this?

It doesn't sound reasonable. However, you will want to talk to a contract attorney. If you have such a non-compete, take it with you for review by the attorney.
