My question involves criminal law for the state of: Idaho
My girlfriend has been on Juvenile probation for a couple years and has been 18 for 3 1/2 months. Recently she failed a ua for marijuana for the second time. Probation has been a constant struggle for her already hectic life. And the threat of jail time has pushed her to her breaking point. So she has decided to leave the state by going to live with her brother. We have a few questions about the situation:
-If she is pulled over or anything in her new home's state, will the police see that she has a warrant in Idaho? If so, will they do anything about it?
-Will her warrant in Idaho ever expire. I know this isn't usually the case. But her friend ran from probation and supposedly does not have a warrant. I don't know how this would happen.
-Will the police try to obtain a warrant to search my house when she disappears? (Her PO knows that she has been living with me)
Please don't reply saying her decision is stupid, we just want to know if there are any serious consequences.
Thanks for any help!
