Default Caught Shoplifting at Neiman Marcus

i'm 15 years old i was caught shoplifting at neiman marcus today...i stole 2 bikinis. i went into the dressing room tried them on then put them in my bag. somehow this lady found out i don't know how and she was following me throughout the store...she was talking on her walkie talkie (loudly) and said things like "the police are waiting outside to apprehend her"..."what is she wearing"...etc..and the guy on the other end described me and she was like 2 feet away from me but acted like she didn't know it was me, even though i'm positive she did. then i just decided to confess i was like "ma'am i have to confess something to you but if i do will i get in trouble?" and she said "well it depends. what are you going to confess about" so i told her and gave her back the bikinis and i told her i was really sorry and it would never happen again..and then she was talking to the guy on the walkie talkie to tell him i confessed and he told her to get my info...she asked for my social security # but i didn't know it, then my drivers license and i didn't have one..so i wrote down my (real) name, age, date of birth, school i.d. # and cell phone number... and she said if i didn't give her the info they would tell my grandma..she doesn't speak english well so she didn't know what was going on.. then i asked her if iw as in trouble and she said "this is your 1st time so we're going to let it slide but the next time you come here the police will be here to arrest you on the spot and for shoplifting twice!" so i left the store w/ my grandma and now i'm at home..will they be able to find out my school by my school i.d.#? in case you don't know what that is, everyone at my school gets a photo i.d. with a number on it, this is our lunch account # too....i'm REALLY scared...do you think i will get in trouble?!

If they didn't seek to have you arrested, and told you that they were letting you go with a warning (and a ban from the store), consider yourself lucky, and don't go back to the store.

She was "Burning" you, that means she knew you stole but was unsure about some of the details so they made it very obvious. The idea is to get you to 'dump' the items and scare you, it worked huh?
