My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: California
I just wanted to be certain about an issue I'm currently involved in with my landlord. I'm midway through a 2 year lease and was recently given a 30 day notice for a $44 rent increase at the end of the month of the month (I currently pay $945). I checked my lease and it does not contain any language about my rent being subject to increase. Is this rent increase legal?
