    Question What Can I Do

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Florida and Illinois. I am 17 and about 6 months ago i was kicked out of my house in illinois and sent to live with my aunt and uncle in florida. They keep saying that they are going to send me back but i don't want to go back because my father is bipolar and abusive and my stepmom is abusive as well. is there someway that i can get emancipated and live with my boyfreind and his mom??? What can i do??

A court is not going to emancipate a girl so she can live with her boyfriend.

A court is not going to emancipate you unless you are self sufficient, and living with someone else isn't it.

What can you do? Wait a few months, and when you turn 18, you can do what you want. The only other way is to get a job, and provide for your own support, then after you do that for a few months, have your legal guardians apply to emancipate you. By that time, you will likely be 18 anyway.
