    Default Citizenship

    Am from rhode island and i came to the united state as a LPR. i was 16 at the time this was in 97 and my father was a naturalized us citizen prior to me coming. I am 27 right now am i already a citizen and do i need to apply for a certificate of citizenship ? or do i have to go through naturalization because of my age. i have and still living with my father at this time. i am not married.

    Citizenship is not automatically granted at a certain age.

    From doing researches, i can apply for a passport as long as i have the documents to prove it and i spoke with a immigration attorney who said i can still get it and i don't have to go through the N-400.
