Default Converting from a Chapter 13 to 7

My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: Illinois

I am about 2 years in my chapter 13 plan. I just cannot make ends meet. I want to convert to a chapter 7 and loose my home and car. Which my bank said they would work me on my car payments so I did not have to loose it. When converting can I add more debt? If so, can I add debt if it is creditors I already filed on in my Chapter 13? Also, when converting when do you stop making your chapter 13 payments? Anything else you can think of on this, please let me know.

Did you use a lawyer when filing your Chapter 13? If so, you might want to contact them re converting to a Chapter 7. They should also be able to answer all of your questions.
