Possession of Marijuana

My question involves criminal law for the state of: New York, Delaware county

I had originally posted some questions in concern to my recent possession of marijuana ticket, however there was some evidence i did not reveal and i was wondering if this could help me any in court. on the possession charge i just got after the car accident, the marijuana found belonged to him. when he cops asked us who's it was neither of us gave him an answer but no, and the cop ended up charging me. is there anyway in the court i could get the charge put on him, i have text messages from him after the accident saying he would have taken the ticket if he had known i was going to end up with a possession charge, and other texts that could probably prove it was his, would this help me at all. please advise, original post below.












My question concerns two Unlawful possession of marijuana charges. The first was about a month ago, my tail lights were out. After being pulled over the officers saw my metal grinder and then had me step out of the car finding a sandwich bag containing around 20 grams of marijuana. The ticket had no amount of grams on it that i was holding, just possession of a leafy substance believed to be marijuana. I went to court for this and got my court day moved a to a month from now. In Between this happening i got into a car accident flipping my car. the police did inventory on my car, and found a container holding 0.5 of a gram of marijuana and i received another u.p.n. I am just graduating from high school and planed to go to college and wanted to become a pharmacist. Is there anything i can do to get these charges dropped or lowered?
