My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: MA
I worked for a City for 7.5 years, then was laid off in May. For 4 weeks in Feb/Mar, I had an additional part-time, minimum wage job (totaling about $400 in wages). That part time employer scheduled me to work hours that I was already scheduled to work at my "real" job, so I couldn't work there. I didn't quit, per se, but I don't think I was fired either. The job just wasn't a good fit.
Now my unemployment is being contested by the part-time employer. Does anyone know what is likely to happen?
Thanks!
Very concerned.
