My question involves criminal law for the state of: Colorado

A wife called the police to report her husband being domesticaly violent. She has 2 previous charges against her.

Knowing she has 2 previous charges....the husband lied to the police and lied in the report making HER look guilty.

She has not had trial yet...barely happened a few days ago.

The husband now feels guilty and want to turn himself in and have the charges dropped against her.

Onto my questions....

1. Will charges against her be dropped?

2. Is he looking at jail time for this....or perhaps a fine/probation? He is a first time offender....never been to jail.

I've looked at many websites for the specific law....but cannot seem to find it in the page after page of laws. I found some info stating it was a class 3 misdemeanor....or is this a serious felony type crime?

Thanks in advance to any responses....
