Default Michigan Resident Divorcing an Ontario Citizen

My question involves divorce in the State of: Michigan married to a Canadian. He lives in Canada and I live in Michigan. I spent three years traveling to Canada spending every other week there. We started two businesses there and now I believe I am in need of a divorce. Should I start in Michigan or Ontario, we were married in Ontario and that has been our home, however I've never changed my US status, I am a American citizen.

    Thanks

You file divorce where ever your residence is at. If your residence is in Michigan then you file in Michigan. If your residence is Canada then you file in Canada.
