My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of:

We just rented out a house and signed the lease a week ago. While we were doing a walk through ourselves after signing the lease and steam cleaning the carpets - we where waiting for the place to be cleaned before we moved in as it has yet to be - I noticed the vents were not working with the air-conditioning. After taking a closer look at all the vents it was very apparent that they were covered in black mold. Also, it is my belief that it is in the air ducts which is what was causing the air-conditioning to not work properly. I have severe asthma and upper respiratory complications that can be inflamed mold. Does this give us cause and reason to cancel the lease agreement?
