My question involves a child custody case from the State of: New York
This falls under 3 of the categories for this, so I hope this is in the right spot.
My ex-girlfriend and I have had a verbal agreement on custody for almost 3 years, my daughter will be 3 in July, it states that every other weekend from Thursday-Sunday I have visitation of my daughter Recently I got a rather large job offer in North Carolina, and I told her about it, as I was excited, it was something I could make a career out of instead of a dead-end job. She told me that if I accept the job and move to North Carolina I'll never see my daughter again, since I pay support can she legally do that? Is there anything that I myself can do to stop her from taking my parental rights away if I do accept the job and move to North Carolina?
She had no problem with it before I got a girlfriend, and got engaged, since then she has done everything she could to prove I was an unfit father, and she has failed miserably.....
