My question involves a reckless driving ticket from the State of: Georgia
I'm going to make this story short because I would just like to know what I can legally do.
I was driving to a friends house at 11:30 pm on a friday. I had a shot to drink with my parents during dinner a while before I left my house. I am driving on a two lane road and a cop passes me. He turns around and takes his time to pull me over. Then he takes me in for a DUI...and once at the station, I blow a 0.009 in the intoxicator 5000.
After looking at this rediculous number, the cop starts writing me a ticket for "reckless driving" and says that I was going 55 in a 40 (Which is honestly a lie) and also says that I went into his lane (While is also honestly a lie).
I'm going to court for this soon, and how can I fight that ticket? It was obviously made up but how come I don't get to explain my side of the story??
I'm 19, male, with a flawless driving and criminal records. I also spend 70 hours in jail completed 25 hours of community service.
