    Default Co-Tenant Issuses

I am living in a house in California were three people including myself are on the lease. One of the people that I am living with is causing a problem, making verbal threats and other things that are making it uncomfortable for myself and the other renter. We have asked the other individual to leave and they refuse, basically saying that we can't make him leave because we don't own the house. This individual didn't pay a deposit all the money is from myself and the other renter. He has caused some physical damage to the house...Help is there anything that we can do to have this person removed?

    Default Problem Co-Tenant

If there is a considerable amount of time left in the lease, you can look into evicting your co-tenant. If not, you may just want to wait out the lease, and then either move or not include the co-tenant on the lease if you renew.

You should review the information on the California Courts self-help center.
