Default Is It Illegal for a Minor to Bring a Minor Over State Lines

My question involves criminal law for the state of: New York
I am 17 years old and live in Jersey, my friend is also 17, but lives in New York so i was wondering if it is illegal for me to go to New York and ride back on the train with her to my place in Jersey and if it is what kind of charges would i be looking at?(All of this would be without her parents consent)

Yes this would be illegal. Contributing to the delinquency of a minor, Custodial interference, Aiding and Abetting...Those are just a few laws you would be breaking. Plus, as you would be taking her over state lines, there are most likely Federal Statutes you would be violating.

    Without parent's consent??

I am assuming your intention is one of an intimate relationship and not just to go to the movies?

    BAD BAD move.

AS BSG points out, there could be a plethora of possible charges, state and federal. Don't risk it.
