    Default Violated Probation by Driving

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida, Pinellas County.

About a year ago I was placed on probation for driving with a suspended license for unpaid tickets. I make just enough to pay my rent and bills, so I couldn't pay the tickets.
Two days ago I was pulled over for driving for the first time since my probation. I was foolish and I gave in to driving temptation. I was taken to jail for the warrants for my unpaid tickets.
Today I got a job and enrolled in college to better myself, is there any chance the judge will not give me jail time?
I'm 19 and live on my own with nowhere to go if I go to jail and cannot pay for my house. I've learned my lesson and will never do something so foolish again.
I was very respectful to everyone in this situation and would like to just pay my dues and resume my quiet life.
Thank you for all your help.

How about paying off all of your fines and court assessments, as an indication to the court that you've learned from your mistakes and aren't going to repeat them? There's no guarantee that the judge won't send you to jail, so do the most you can to demonstrate (not just say, but show) that you're turning over a new leaf.
