    Question Running Away in Florida

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Florida

I am 17 and I live in florida.Me and my mom dont get along at all. She doesnt have a job and hasnt had one in 7 years. I work and pay half of the bills.I'll be 18 in october and I want to just move out but my mom wont let me. I tried to runaway but only made it 2 days and my mom came and got me. She said the people I was staying with could be arrested for harboring a runaway. What would happen if the cops came would they make me go home and could they get in trouble for letting me stay there. Also could my mom get in trouble for making me pay bills. I want to get emancipated but ive heard it cost alot and it takes over 6 months which I would be 18 already then. What should I do?:confused

    Correct.

You could be dragged home and they could be arrested.
Also could my mom get in trouble for making me pay bills.
    No.

Not to mention, if your Mom objects - and it sounds like she would - it's game over.
    What should I do?
Save up, and move out on your 18th birthday.

Move out on your birthday. Until then, you will not be able to move without Mom's permission.
