California 22350vc; 30 in a "15" in a Parking Lot

My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: California.

Real short notice ticket; tomorrow morning is traffic court..My apologies.

A very large parking lot and upon leaving at 5pm, conditions were clear and visibility was perfect; sun out, dry.

I saw a "state" police car(not CHP) driving ahead a few hundred yards in the same direction; I drove 2 aisles over to the right and proceeded to go out of the lot looking for cars and pedestrians, it's like just over .1 miles to exit on to lined and multiple exit lanes. No speed limit signs exiting or anywhere INSIDE the lot. And you have to slow for oncoming traffic to left where hundreds of spaces are and no one was oncoming and there were no pedestrians and I proceeded 50ft to the lined lanes/light and turned right on the main road. At least 1/2 mile to next streetlight when I looked in sideview mirror and noticed cop; light turned green, he lit me and we cross intersection in where he could do his writing.

I asked what's up; he said I was speeding in parking lot; I asked where are signs, he says "all over the place".....he writes me up for 30 in 15. I ask how he determined my speed and he said "with my eye"...since I asked for equipment then.

I went back when the lot was empty and wellah; a speed sign of 15MPH on one side and one six lane straight on the other only on entrance; like a trussel with legs holding up; signs are easily hidden if you are next to the car next to the sign like I was since signs are only roof high on cars...I didn't even see with my van.

While I wasn't looking at my speedometer, I was more concerned with any cars and pedestrians instead and never had seen until I went back to see that only 2 15MPH signs upon entrance and then they collect money and you park.

I go to court and am fighting it under the basic speed law that allows me to be safe since I do not know how fast I honestly was going, but feel I was NOT going more than the entrance speed.

I'm mad as heck for cop lying about signs all over and I took pics of where he was, where I was and all over lot for any signs; zero as said exiting.

I've already been to Help! I got a Ticket but want to cover bases.

Don't signs have to be so high for others to see instead of those at the pillars on each side?

I felt I was driving safely; in total control with zero cars(except cop hiding) and zero pedestrians. Total sunshine, no wet roads..

Suggestions please? A parking lot I know nothing about except mine has a 5MPH zone over 6' tall.
