    Default Supporting Depositions

My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: New York

Wondering if anybody can help? I have already left this too long as I'm in court on Thursday.....

I live in Ontario and I got a speeding ticket in Chautauqua County back in March. At the time the ticket was issued I was also given a supporting deposition that was attached. When I mailed in the ticket with a not guilty plea I also checked off that I would like them to send a supporting deposition, what the hell! Anyhow, when I got my notice of trial they did send me a deposition, problem was it wasn't mine! What they sent me was a supporting Deposition for some guy named Maikel Nunez from a different officer also.
    Is this a defense?
Should I be going in to haggle with the prosecutor or let it go and provide my story to the judge as my defense?

Quick!!! Can anybody offer an informed opinion?
    Thanks
    Tim

When you received the incorrect document, what did you do? If the answer is nothing, even leaving aside for the moment the fact that you already have the correct document, I don't expect that a court will be impressed. Mistakes happen.
