    Default Moving Back to France. Break My Lease

    My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: California

    Hello
    I have to move back to France for my job and doesn t have a job anymore in Los Angeles.
    I have one month lease remaining and I would like to know if I have to pay this month.

    Yes, you do.

    Let your landlord know that you're moving, and maybe you'll be lucky and they'll find a tenant to move in for part or all of that month.
