Default Quit claim deed and judgements

I was sued for a frivlous law suit and lost. I am appealing the case and ask for a stay with the courts. I did a quit claim deed to my husband because he is not a part of this law suit. Can they still put a lien on the house? I was only on the deed to rights of surivorship, not on the mortgage or loan. My law suit was base on the right to privacy, this person (someone that I don't really know), took personal property from me like bank statements, checks, S.S. number, video tape my kids and then mail out to other people and made in public in the courts records. I can't believe I lost this case. He sued myself and my attorney and WON. Unreal. Now he is going after my husband and trying to take his perosnal belonging, remenber he is not a part of this. I am also looking for a attorney that can help us. We live in a small town and it is a good old boy town. Please advices.

A quitclaim deed won't let you avoid collection efforts. It may actually make it easier if the transfer is deemed fraudulent.
