Steps to Emancipation

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Arizona

I am 2 months from being 17 years old. My mother has given legal custody and guardianship of me to a friend of hers. There is a long history of alcoholism with my mother and I want to start my own life and get off the roller coaster. No shelters or group homes anymore.
I have discussed this with my new gaurdian she has no problem with me being emancipated. I have also discussed this with parents of friends in order to make sure I can follow through. I have a plan and now I need to know what the steps are and what criteria needs to be met to make this happen.
I have plenty of support from friends and parents of friends, I am still in school and will remain there with their help through graduation and hopefully college.

Please let me know what we need to do next.

The important stuff that pertains to emancipation wasn't included in your post:

1) do you earn enough from employment to COMPLETELY support yourself? Without assistance? If everyone you knew or planned to "help" suddenly dropped off the face of the earth forever?

2) have you compiled a comprehensice budget that shows a court reasonable and documented costs for rent, utilities, health insurance, food, transportation, etc?

Without these two items being firmly in place, the rest is irrelevent.
