Default Must parents sign for "First Offenders program"

Hello I was caught shoplifting at age 17, now iam 18 my court date is March 20. I was talking to a lawyer who said she would represent me for $100 and she said she would get me in the First Offenders Program, but I was wondering if my parents would I have to come with me to court and sign some papers to join?

You're a grown-up now. It shouldn't be necessary to involve your parents. Your lawyer can confirm.
