    Default Tenant Works Out of State

    My question involves an eviction in the state of: florida 3 day notice was mailed to tenant that works out of state. will be filing eviction with lee county friday. Can he request a delay of eviction notice by phone, or other? what problems will i face with him out of state?

    If he objects to the manner of service, you can document to the court that he was properly served.

    Did your mailed notice add five days to the expiration date?
