Default Medical Insurance Company Requests Will

My question involves estate proceedings in the state of: ILLINOIS

My mother died in October of 2008. Her house went to the reverse mortage company - with no proceeds from the transfer. My mother did leave about $8,000 in a bank account which required a Small Estate Affidavit to free up. This money was divided amongst her children. Now in May of 2008, we receive a request from my mother's hospital insurance company for a copy of the will. Q1 - Is it ok to send it to them? Q2 - Can the company lay claim on the $8000 for any unpaid hospital bills?

    THANK YOU!
