My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: CA
Can my employer force me to do projects that are against my religion?
I have a work comp claim open and I believe my employer is trying to force me to quit.

What kind of work project is it and against what religion?
Was you employer aware that this would be an issue when you were hired?
The question is whether they're sincerely held religious beliefs, and if the employer has been made aware of them, not whether the employer knew at the time of hiring (or if there has been a subsequent religious conversion).
But it's important to know what type of project we're talking about, how it conflicts with your religion, and whether your objection can be reasonably accommodated within your job or workplace.
Society has changed a GREAT deal since I was hired and I don't believe anyone was aware this would be an issue when I was first hired.
Yes the employer is aware of beliefs etc.
It is a "design" project for a group that is in opposition to my beliefs.
IN WHAT WAY is it in opposition to your beliefs?
We're trying to help here but you're not giving us anything to go on.
What does that mean
It sounds to me - and I'm using my imagination here, since you've given us nothing else to go by.... You've been asked to do graphics for a pancake house menu that is sponsored by the KKK
Seriously - if you want to know if you're being discriminated against based on your religion you are going to have to give SPECIFIC information.
For me It would be akin to being asked to create an announcement for the KKK.
