Default Child Support Was Reduced to a Judgement

My question involves child support in the State of: Indiana

First let me give some back grown, i own arrears of over 30,000. both my children are have been emancipated.(both over 21) I was paying arrears of $50.00 a week to the arrears. And my x wife just filed to have the arrears reduced to a judgement, and suspended my drivers licence( my cdl). and the judge ruled in her favor. I have no home or belonging worth any value, so i guess my question is this: what possible reason would they ask for this? I have now lost my job driving because i have no cdl, and now no income at all. this makes no sence to me. they were getting over 200.00 dollars a month and could have gottin more, based on my income at the time. Now i can't pay anything. Can i go to jail for not paying my arrears? are the any avenues i can try to get my licence back? please help.

    As a form of punishment.

    Yes

You need to get a job that does not require you to have a driver's license. Sorry. Hopefully another poster will be able to tell you how/if you can earn back your license - but until then - seriously - find a new job.

I don't know about your state, but in mine you must pay up to current date including all arrears, and pay a driver license reinstatement fee before you can get back your license. Then there's a court fee to record the satisfaction of judgement.

So even if i was making my arrears payments, this is just about being vindictive. so if i find a new job and keep making my arrears payments there is nothing else they can do? or is reduced to judgement mean you own 1 lump sum?
