    All I can really put in this situation is that blackmail is against the law. If you have any proof he is doing this or has, go to the police and tell them. Dont let this person ruin your life.

    Thanks for your comment. I did raise the blackmail issue to the police officer in my statement defending myself against the bad check charges, and it was mentioned in my wife's sworn statement that she gave.

    I can only hope the police officer will follow up with my side of the story. I attempted to contact the officer today to tell him that before he even thinks of charging me with this bogus crime that I challenge my landlord to take a polygraph test which I would be open to taking as well. I know they are not admissible in PA, but hopefully it would be enough to scare him off.
