Default J-1 Marriage During Grace Period

    Hello,
I'm sorry if the question was already asked, but I have a specific detail.
I am currently a J-1 student. My DS-2019 expires May 30, 2010 and 2-year home residency requirement does apply to me. As I know I have 30 day grace period after the expiration date of my DS-2019 and me and my fiancee who is a US Citizen decided to get married during first or second week of June, 2010 and move back to my home country to fulfill the residency requirement right after it.
My question is: is it OK from the DHS (or whatever organization) point of view to get married during the grace period of stay if we don't have any intentions to apply for the Green Card.

    Thank you.

Nobody will care if you get married. (That didn't come out quite right... the government won't care....)
