    Default Social Security Overpayment

SSA is asking me to pay $125,000,000 in overpayment. It seem like I did not report when I was working on and off. They are going back to 1994 until now.
isn't there a limit of time when they can go back?
such as a 7 years limit?

if so what legal code can I use to look this up?

    thank you

    this is in California

Why were you receiving soc. sec. benefits? What type of benefits were they (ie SSI, SSDI ....)

Do you want to verify the amount of the overpayment.

    Thanks.
