    Default Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia

ok. I work at a gas station and quite a few of the employees smoke marijuana. Apparantly someone is dealing out of the store. the cops were tipped off and are trying to find out who. They came to my work while I was on shift. They talked to me a little bit and asked me questions. they had two drug dogs in the cars. They asked to search my car and if I had anything in there. I remembered that a friend put his waterbottle "bong" in my trunk so i told them that. They searched the vehicle and found one other "bong" my friend stashed under the seat that i had forgotten about. There was a tiny bit of resin in one. They said that it counts as posession. They bullied me and tried making me talk and tell them who was dealing out of the store. They threatened me with loss of license and job. then they told me that they convinced my boss not to fire me and that they would just hold the evidence and if i could keep my mouth shut and find out who was dealing they would throw it out. I cant tell them what I dont know and now the others are too smart to let me know. I wouldnt nark anyway. I guess my question is can they take my license? What can I be charged with on my first offense? Also my friend told me about 7411 and the Youth Persons Act. What are these and how can I get myself out of this mess? any advice would be helpful![/b]

Assuming any residue tests positive for THC, you will likely be charged with possession of marijuana.

Get a lawyer, retained or appointed.

Section 7411 gives the court the power to give a delayed sentence for a first drug possession offense. The Holmes Youthful Trainee Act (HYTA) gives the court the power to sentence an offender between the ages of 17 and 21 to a delayed sentence following the entry of a guilty plea, which allows the offender to avoid the entry of a conviction if he successfully completes probation.
