    Default Daycare Tax Deductible

My tax accountant says it can be claimed by both parents, even though we alternate years for the child tax credit. What else can be claimed? I due rent and claim a standard deduction vs full itemize.

What do you mean? Your accountant is claiming that both parents can take decutions for a single expenditure (e..g, you spent $$6,000 on daycare and you both claim $6,000?) If so, get thee to an ethical accountant.

As for "What else can be claimed", what are you talking about? What's the accountant doing for you, if not guiding you through your available deductions?
