    Default Borrower Rights Post-Default

My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: CA

I entered into stip with laywer collecting on TERI loans.
Been in repayment now for 6 years.
    Payments go to attorney.

Attorney won't provide statement of account (payments, principal, interest applied, outstanding balance, etc.) and has not provided 1998s for tax credit - requested in writing.

TERI cut off communication with me when collection was given to attorney.

    Q. What can I do to get information on my loans? Who is legally responsible? What, as in this case, do I do if lawyer is non-responsive and I have no contact info for TERI?

Look to the terms of your settlement: Your settlement was that you would pay how much for how long?

The settlement does not have any terms regarding the servicing of the loan. I was wondering if lenders have an obligation to provide account information to borrowers.
