    Default Rental Agreements

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: I was renting a house for 12 years in Maryland. I signed a 1 year lease when I first moved in. I never signed another lease the entire time I was there. Does it go to a month to month or does the first lease stay active eventhough I did not sign another?

    Default Re: Rental Agreements

It depends on the wording of your original lease. Does it have an automatic renewal clause? It not, then you are considered a month to month tenant.
