Default Request Termination of Child Support But Will To Pay A Higher Sum

My question involves child support in the State of: Illinois.

I am currently paying child support for my daughter. I am only paying $80 court ordered and providing medical care because the court order came when I was 18 and without a job. I joined the military a year later and have been paying an additional $200 each month via money order. She couldn't ask for more than the $80 because she is on state aid.

Is it possible to request to have the child support order discontinued. This order was set before I even had a job by the custodial parent's mother because I was 18. It makes it seem like I need to be told to pay. I'm about to offer an additional $200 when I get promoted totaling $500 a month with insurance included. We haven't spoken about this yet but in the court's eye is this feasible?
