My question involves criminal law for the state of: Indiana

I was entered into the National Retail Theft Database for a first-time offense of shoplifting around $48 worth of items. This was a year and a half ago. (I am not a minor.) I paid a civil demand and there was no arrest. Technically, I believe, there is no criminal record. Several problems ...

1) Will I be on this database forever?
2) Is this going to affect my ability to get another job?
3) Is this going to affect my credit?
4) Any other far-reaching consequences I should know about?

Please reply - this is killing me.
