You might at least shoot a note to their oversight people -- and, if you're living in California, your assembly rep or state senator -- detailng the shabby/abusive behavior. There are some very strange people handling telephone inquiries and such, and for what ever reason, they're not required identify themselves by name or personnel number -- unless they're doing something protracted, like an audit questionnaire. I was calling to reschedule a telephone interview and wound up with some guy on the phone who assumed I was calling in as an applicant for new benefits -- the guy says, "Well, you'ree working now, so you don't need to do the interview, so just ignore the letter."
