My question involves a background check in the State of: Texas
I have two felony credit card abuse cases that was completed in 2002 defered adjudication. I can get these sealed or expunged and how long does process would take and costs invloved?

You can only expunge deferred Class C misdemeanors, or convictions that have been pardoned. For other deferrals, following the statutory waiting period you can petition to seal your record. If you want to know current filing fees for a petition to seal, inquire with the court. If you want to know how much a lawyer would charge to handle the process for you, call some area lawyers and ask.
