My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: Kansas.
I was stopped for no insurance and driving on suspended. Long story short, I left town and had to return. After about a year I called about the ticket and the court clerk told me I had a fine to pay for that offence. No court appearance. The DMV in Kansas told me that "due to your court conviction for driving in violation of restriction the court ordered you driving privileges be suspended indefinitely". I have since paid off any fines that I owe for that ticket and they still send me this response. The court clerk says she sees nothing that should keep me from having my license back.
Question is: Do I have to go in front of a judge to get my license back?
Please help.
