My question involves criminal law for the state of: Illinois
My cousin was involved in a very abusive relationship that she could not get out of. The only thing is, the male was 4 1/2 years younger than her, making him a minor at the time.
During this relationship she had a son, who is now almost two. He has has since been to prison for attempted murder to a police officer and a bunch of burglary and drug charges. He is out now and is driving her crazy coming and going as he pleases to see their son. She doesn't have a problem with him seeing their son, but she doesn't want him on her property. The entire past 4 years he just keeps telling her that he can do whatever he wants to because if she tries to stop him he'll press charges for statutory rape. His mother has known, and approved of this situation the entire time. She lived with him for most of their relationship. Can my cousin do anything to keep him off of her property or is he able to press charges at any given time if she doesn't comply with his every whim and desire?
