Default Trying to Get Real Name on Birth Certificate

My question involves name change laws in the State of: CA

Long story short, parents were fugitives in the 50s until secret service picked them up in 65. I was born in 1956 and have an alias birth certificate in Hanford, CA. I’ve gone by my real name since 9. How do I go about getting birth cert with my real name I’ve been using for years? I’ve tried to call . . apparently they don’t have an actual building there and everything is done by phone. Need one for passport and drivers license for state I now reside in. My father's passed but mom's still alive . . . . .

What documentation of your real name do you have?

Was there ever a birth certificate bearing your real name?

    Let's start there.

I have a Washington driver's license, social security card, and my taxes are in real name.

How did you get your driver's license in your real name if your BC isn't?

(No, I'm not trying to be flip, it's actually an important question.)

Sorry, but your "real name" is the name that is on your birth certificate. The actual alias is the one you've been using since you were 9, and is NOT legal.

You need to do a legal name change.
