Default Shoplifting Arrest with prior conviction

Hi there. There was no way for me to look back at your other responses, so I have to ask this question again...I had a prior conviction for shoplifting, but it was expunged. 3 years later, I decide, out of nowhere, that I'm going to try it again. I am in this with one other person - my best friend. We would like to know what on earth might happen to us for performing such a stupid act. This was recently in Ann Arbor, Mi. Scared that jail may be in the near future for us, we are looking for any type of legal advice possible. Another fact would be that our items were totalled under $200. I would greatly, as would she, greatly appreciate any help you can give us. Thank you so much!!!

    Default Shoplifting Arrest

The probable disposition depends upon the full facts and circumstances of the arrest. That is an assessment best made in consultation with a lawyer, who has the opportunity to review your background and the police report from the shoplifting arrest.
