    Default Removing Theft Device

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Michigan

I was recently caught stealing 2 videogames from Target in Michigan and not only was it retail fraud 3rd degree first offense but also removing of a theft device which seems more serious and resulted in a $500 bond.

any advice on what to expect in the courtroom? Should I pay for an attorney?

Depending on your age and record, you should consult a lawyer to see if you qualify for a diversion program or deferral. If you can't afford a lawyer, inquire with the court about whether you would qualify for a court-appointed lawyer.
