    Default Effect of moving out of state on a statute of limitation

    I Currently live in Arkansas. in few months it is going to be three year after I last used my credit card, I also never made a payment after I used my card taht last time. I am planning to move to Oklahoma because of a job opportunity. will my moving affect the statute of limitation on my credit card. Thank you.

    Default Credit and Statute of Limitations

    It may affect the statute of limitations. Sometimes moving to a different state will cause the statutory period to be tolled, meaning that it stops running until you return.
