Question Paid Property Taxes for 8 Years - Adverse Possession

My question involves real estate located in the State of Florida. I have controlled a property for the pass 8 years. The property taxes and appraiser records are in my company, inc name and records states that taxes have been paid by me for the pass 8 years. I have rented the house on the property via a lease agreement, cut the grass, remodeled the house, obtained electric services in my name at the property address.

Can I claim adverse possession? If so, what should be my next steps?

What documentation do I need to help support the adverse possession statue requirements in Florida?

How do I identify an attorney suited to address an adverse possession case?

You're a tenant? Then no, you can't claim adverse possession because you entered and remain on the premises with the permission of your landlord.

If you meant something else, please explain.

I'm the current owner of the property via the property appraiser and tax collector records. I've paid the taxes for 8 years and leased the property to numerous tenants over the years. I have also made improvements. I'm not a tenant!!!

you are not the owner because they have your name listed. They cannot convey title so they cannot name you owner.
I've paid the taxes for 8 years and leased the property to numerous tenants over the years.
How did you come into possession of the property? Where is the true owner? Are you involved with the true owner in any way?
