Smile Right to Live As Family

My question involves civil rights in the State of: New York

We are looking for any advice on the topic of Constitutional right to live as a family.
Recently paroled parolee is not allowed to live with his wife and children.
Due to the fact that his crime was a d.v. incident in a previous relationship.
This is a special condition of parole in New York.
Any information to that can help our family to be reunited so we can live our lives the way a family should will be grealy appreciated.

When you're convicted of a crime, you put your civil liberties at risk. What are the "big three", at least according to the Declaration of Independence - life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? The state can potentially deprive a convicted criminal of all three.

Yes, when you're on parole, the sentencing court and parole officer have a great deal of control over where you live, you you live with, and with whom you may associate.
