    Exclamation Fair Trial

My question involves a child custody case from the State of Missouri.

Me and my ex have a child together and she is driving me insane. We went to a lawyer and had paperwork drawn up but everytime we get into a slight argument she says she will not sign and i will not get to see my daughter. I do not have a lot of many and i am also afraid because i was specifically told by her and the guy she is currently seeing that his 2 brothers are cops and they know every judge in my area. So i do not think i have the slightest chance at a fair trial if it does come to that. She will not answer my calls instead shuts off her phone. She purposly makes fights when i do see my daughter and kicks me out of her house. And she does not call me when things happen to my daughter such as she fell our of her crib last night. She thretens to put a restraining order on me to make me look bad in court. She is putting my daughter by someone i view as dangerous because he has told me he can do what he wants to me because his brothers are cops he even asked if i wished to speak with one of them so they could tell me that they wouldnt help. What rights do i have here as her father. My name is on the birth certificate and is there any way that i can just get this done and legal or is the paperwork we both had made enough until reviewed by a court.

Have you actually filed with the court for a visitation order?

If not, you need to ASAP. You do not have to have her agreement, the Judge can order visitation that is based on your state's guidelines, even if she does not agree.

If a petition has already been filed, and the hold up is waiting for her signature, you should speak to your attorney about going ahead and setting a hearing date.

Don't worry about the Judges- think about this. Would a Judge risk getting in trouble because he knows a cop who's brother's girlfriend wants special treatment?

This is not about who this guy knows, but about the law. Get a lawyer, go to court. If your ex was stupid enough to threaten you in writing, give that to your lawyer. Let him fight it out.
