My question involves a condominium located in the State of: California
I live in a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom condo. The bathroom is situated between both bedrooms.
Earlier this month in January 24 (approximately) there was a water leak from the condo above. As a result of the water damage, there was significant damage and mold growth. All the dry wall in my bathroom except for a small patch. Also 1/5 of the bedroom walls in both bedrooms adjacent to the bathroom were also removed. Mold remediation began approximately February 6th and did not complete until March 6th. There were delays: 1st time because they said they miscalculate the area they were trying to clean and didn't do a good job the first time and there was still too much mold still. 2nd time they said that there was too much moisture in the air due to putting too much water in the solution they were using to clean the mold. From March 6 to now they said there were going to have it all fixed up by Friday 03/20. It's 03/19 and only the bedroom dry wall has been nailed in (no tape or mud has been applied). Two weeks passed and I can verify that they only visited my condo once during that time period.
What are my options at this point and time? I think I should take legal counsel. What good will that do?
