My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Nevada
I am 17 and Live with my parents. I've been considering moving out for atleast a year now but haven't talked to them yet. Personally its because I'm scared of my dad, but anyways, my parents know that i myself do not believe in the mormon religion and yet they are forcing me to go to every activity that they have that i get a chance to go to. They punish me with it. Also my dad is trying to force me to quit my job because he believes it is teaching me bad things.
If my dad did not force my boss to cut my schedule so much i would be able to make enough to live on my own. Before my dad started butting in I was making anywhere from 500-600 a month, this was even still with a cut schedule because i am involved with soccer which takes up some of my time. I do go to school. I am a junior in High School and taking extra classes to help me graduate early so I can work full time.
I have reliable means of Transportation. Where I live everything is so close by at the max it takes all of 5 minutes to get anywhere on my bike.
I want to move out and be emancipated before my dad makes me quit my job or he quits it for me so this would not be impossible.
What do you suggest?
